Content Description The Pickering Lumber Company Collection mostly contains documents pertaining to East Texas and Western Louisiana. The collection contains land surveys, business correspondence, oil and gas lease records, ledgers, and maps. The collection contains 18 boxes of documents, records and correspondance, 5 boxes of dismantled and intact ledgers, and 52 maps.
Scope and Contents An addition was made to this collection which consists chiefly of the business correspondence, personal correspondence and miscellaneous legal and business papers of A. T. Russell Also included are photographs, various mementos, newspaper clippings, and other family materials collected by Josephine Russell, daughter of Clara Cronkrite and A. T. Russell.
Scope and Contents Ledgers of the accounts of the general merchandise and grocery store; scrapbook with newspaper clippings, including some obituaries; a farm record and account book; and a Beaumont High School yearbook, "Spindletop" (1925).
