Scope and Contents

This collection has materials that deal with administration of the program with files dealing with policies, program statements, and annual reports.  There are also some files outlining the guidelines of tutors and assistants.  The collection also contains issues of The Beacon, the AARC’s publication.

Scope and Contents A number of files in this collection deal with a lawsuit between Stephen F. Austin State University, originating in the College of Forestry, and Seymour I. Somberg, a former professor. The files are from the Dean of Forestry at the time of the litigation, Laurence C. Walker. There are also some files that deal with Walker and his position in the Forestry School after the lawsuit was filed. Scope and Contents

This collection consists of student handbooks, office newsletters/publications, and some materials on different organizations at SFA.  Many of the organizations have announcements or invitations, constitutions and some of the fraternities and sororities have rush booklets.
