Scope and Contents
The writer is only known as Bob. Bob proclaims his love for Rubie and promises to get a divorce so they can be together. He encourages Rubie to leave where she is at since a gun was shot near her face and he will treat her better than she is being treated. He wants her to go to Livingston or Lufkin and he will meet her there. Bob is sending the letter via Bob Clarke of Lufkin.
