1872 Nacogdoches Democratic Election Ticket

A. H. Rowell Sr. Family Documents
Two scrapbooks have newspaper clippings about the 1853 and 1856 elections. One document lists "Negros lost by Amansipations [emancipation], 1865" signed September 1865 by A.H. Rowell. There is one photo of two African American females.

The account book of A. W. De Berry is for his law practice in Carthage, Panola County, Texas, 1871-1873. It lists the names of De Berry's clients, the legal services he provided to them, and the fees De Berry charged for his work.

There are also some files outlining the guidelines of tutors and assistants. The collection also contains issues of The Beacon, the AARC’s publication.

The collection contains many different types of brochures for a number of different types of students from general undergraduates, transfer student, international students, and opportunities for high school students.
Affirmative Action, Office of
The majority of this collection is made up of Affirmative Action Plan manuals and reports on the implementation of the plans.
African American Heritage Project
The East Texas Research Center is the depository for the materials of the African American Heritage Project which was started by Birdie Wade. The ETRC is also in the process of creating an interactive and educational website for the African American Heritage Project.
Agriculture, Department of
The collection holds materials that deal with the different concentrations and clubs that are part of the department.
Airline Motor Coaches Collection
The collection, which ranges from 1920-1983, is primarily composed of reunion photographs, industry newspapers, and company forms. There are also 10 bus schedules from the 1930s and 40s, reunion correspondence, a guest register, journal articles and several scrapbooks.
Albert Aldrich Nelson Papers
In addition to a diary of Nelson's adventures on a whaling ship, the collection includes business, legal and personal correspondence pertaining to topics like surveying and local politics.

Alfred S. Shivers Research Collection on Jessamyn West
Correspondence, notes, and clippings pertaining to the life and works of Jessamyn West: poet, novelist and short story writer. Copies of many of her works are included. Materials collected by Dr. Shivers, SFASU English Professor, in preparation for writing his critical biography, Jessamyn West (1972).
