“I present this Bible to my Grandson Bucky Bryan which belonged to his Uncle William Joe Bryan, my son who died at my residence on the 27th day of January 1882 and his remains are in the Independence Cemetery near to the graves of your Great Grand Father Col. Ira R. Lewis and your Great Grandmother Eliza Jane Lewis. At my son James Bryan residence this the 23rd day of March 1887. Moses Austin Bryan.”
