The bulk of this collection consists of scrapbooks and other photographic materials. The scrapbooks are thematic in that they represent an academic year, generally. Several scrapbooks were damaged or were donated in the form of loose pages. The scrapbooks capture years from 1973 through 2016, but there are considerable gaps. Photographs focus largely on the Gamma Phi chapter at SFA, but there are other photographs of non-SFA marching bands. Other materials in the collection include newspaper clippings, award certificates, and applications for the D. O. Wiley Award. The collection includes a specialty Kappa Kappa Psi picture frame, and many of the scrapbook covers are custom-made, offering research value in and of themselves. Note by Alex Schutz
