This collection contains the political and personal papers of Congressman Charles Wilson from 1958 to 1996. State Papers Series II is roughly organized by year and then alphabetically by name and subject. While the majority of documents are correspondence to and from Wilson concerning particular issues or legislation, there are also individual requests for assistance, election campaign materials (reports, voter lists and supplementary data), newspaper articles, House and Senate legislation, and information on various East Texas businesses, institutions, people and places that Wilson decided to keep tabs on.
