From the Collection:

The collection consists of Schott family records, including insurance policies, a marriage license, employment records, notes, and postcards, as well as family photographs. There are additional photographs of unidentified men and women that portray civic and family life in Nacogdoches, Texas. These images were taken by photography companies, including Hannington and Gasley and Littlefield Co., as well as companies in Dallas and Austin, Texas. The collection includes a ledger from 1858 detailing land titles and claims.
