Case files from the 20th century however, need to be re-housed in archival folders and labeled. Please be patient as we work to get a full index of the cases in each box online. Scope and Contents From the Series: At some point prior to the transfer of the probate case files to the ETRC (Summer 2011), San Augustine County got the collection scanned. A by-product of that scanning project were cover sheets for each probate file folder that showed the name and case number of that folder. Cover sheets without folders included the word "Missing." It was the decision of the ETRC to make file folders for these probate cases with the hopes that these records will one day be found and returned to the...
