The collection contains 18 boxes of documents, records and correspondance, 5 boxes of dismantled and intact ledgers, and 52 maps.

The E. O. Siecke Papers document the career and influence of Ernest O. Siecke, widely regarded as the “Father of Texas Forestry.” The collection includes personal and business correspondence, writings, publications, biographical materials, and records relating to the development of forestry in Texas, featuring communications with prominent political leaders, educators, conservationists, and representatives of major timber and forestry organizations.
