Original deed records from the Mexican Department of Nacogdoches, 1826-1836. The ETRC received eight volumes from the County Court, Nacogdoches County, September 21, 2012. Each "book" consists of a variable number of deed records. Pages were unfolded, flattened, conserved, and housed in individual sleeves. An index of these records is found in Carolyn Ericson's Index of Documents: Department of Nacogdoches, 1826-1836 and on microfilm (see below). Note, however, that the substantial subset of power-of-attorney's, transfers, and contracts listed in Ericson's index are not in these volumes.
