Biographical or Historical Information
Management of computers and their network on the campus of SFA started with the Data Processing Center in 1963. The department was responsible to managing the few computers that were on the SFA campus at that time. Over time as computing gained widespread acceptance and use the department was renamed Computing and Communications Services. As of 2011 these responsibilities fall under control of Information Technology Services.Note written by Greg Bailey
