Biographical or Historical Information
David Burrows, the son of Anthony and Elizabeth Burrows, was born in Grundy County, Tennessee, on October 27, 1810. About 1833, David Burrows married Elizabeth Beatrice King, daughter of Thomas King. Elizabeth was born on December 29, 1811. They had eleven children. David Burrows died on October 5, 1873, and Elizabeth died on August 26, 1889. They are both buried in the North Church Cemetery in Nacogdoches, Texas.
Arch Augustus Price, son of Lucien V. Price and Amanda Mims, was born in Melrose, Texas, on August 1, 1860. On July 13, 1890, he married Martha (Mattie) Lamilia Burrows, daughter of David Muckleroy and William Adelaid Box Burrows, and granddaughter of David and Elizabeth Beatrice King Burrows. Arch Augustus died on May 9, 1942, and Martha Burrows died on July 24, 1924. Both are buried in the North Church Cemetery.
