Biographical / Historical
LeRoy McPhail (1914-2004), son of John Earnest McPahil and Octavia Edmonia "Eddie" Hamilton married Mary Viola Hartgraves (1914-1998), daughter of William Henry Hartgraves and Ella Curry, on August 8, 1943 in Gulf Port, Mississippi. LeRoy was a World War II veteran and a school teach in San Augustine and Beaumont, Texas. He retired in Nacogdoches, Texas.
