Biographical / Historical
Rufus Andrew “R.A.” Ewing (1891-1963) was the son of Samuel Leon Ewing (1865-1904) and Mary Reynolds (1876-1930). R.A. married Lula Bell Horton (1889-1980) in 1912, had three children and lived near Ironton, Cherokee County, Texas. R.A. was a farmer and worked in the lumber industry.
