Abstract

The Barnett Family Papers document the personal, business, and religious activities of the Barnett family of Nacogdoches County through correspondence, receipts, contracts, and genealogical materials. The collection also contains records relating to Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church and several generations of the Barnett family, including John Calhoun Barnett and Robert Donnell Barnett.

The bulk of the collection covers the period of the 1870s through the 1890s.
