Scope and Contents The collection consists of two volumes of large scrapbooks (about 27 x 18) entitled "WAAC Branch Number 1, Army Administration School, Nacogdoches, Texas, Volume 1" and "WAC Branch Number 1, Army Administration School, Nacogdoches, Texas, Volume 2." The scrapbooks are organized in near date order. Volume 1 spans Feb. 5, 1943 - Aug. 30, 1943 while Volume 2 covers Sept., 1943 - Feb. 10, 1944. The collection consists of 78 scrapbooks about the history of the college. Many of the scrapbooks pertain to theater productions, which include posters and photo collages of the productions, and athletics.

The collection consists of original records including memos, correspondence, reports, specifications for a building, materials regarding applications for President of the University, tax receipts, papers relating to Keachi College business, and the Treasurer's Register.

This collection covers mostly writing and correspondence by Dr. Boynton.  The correspondences deal with those outside of SFA and there are communications to the faculty.  His writings deal with speeches given at commencements at other universities and appearances.
