Abstract

The Barnett Family Papers document the personal, business, and religious activities of the Barnett family of Nacogdoches County through correspondence, receipts, contracts, and genealogical materials. The collection also contains records relating to Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church and several generations of the Barnett family, including John Calhoun Barnett and Robert Donnell Barnett.

The William and Mollie Goss Collection consists of two nineteenth-century letters concerning family relationships, bereavement, domestic life, and enslaved individuals, and three photographs of unidentified individuals dating from the late nineteenth or early twentieth century. The correspondence includes an 1859 letter from William Henry Goss to his wife, Mollie Goss.
