Biographical or Historical Information

In March, 1995 the Fredonia Chapter of the Texas Society of the Sons of the American Revolution was installed. Although the Chapter was formed and meets in Nacogdoches, membership is drawn from throughout the area.



The chapter has open meetings every other month and is involved in several annual projects. Any adult male who can trace his lineage to a direct ancestor who gave direct support to the American Revolutionary cause is eligible to apply for membership
