Biographical / Historical

Villa Belle Scogin was "born February 8, 1913, in Nacogdoches...[and] was an LVN at a Methodist Hospital and a member of Appleby Church of Christ. She was also a member of the Nacogdoches Genealogical Society, Daughters of the Republic of Texas, National Society Colonial Dames XVIIth Century, National Society Magna Charta Dames, and a 50-year member of the Extension Homemaker Club.” Mrs. Scogin died September 18, 2006, in Nacogdoches.
