Biographical / Historical
Jason F. Summers was born August 4, 1925, in Moscow, Texas, to Link Ford Summers and Bessie Parrish. He attended Creighton University in Omaha and received his Bachelor of Science degree from Stephen F. Austin in 1956. He was a pipe organ player and played for horse shows in several states and throughout Texas. He was a retired funeral director, having worked for Cason Monk Funeral Home, and owned a funeral home in Victoria, Texas. He also worked as a real estate manager and served in the U. S. Army Air Corps.
