Biographical / Historical
Richard Maurice "Dick" Muckelroy (1915-2014) was born in Nacogdoches, Texas, the son of Fritz Norman Muckelroy and Minnie Ola clevinger. Ruth Earl Riley (1912-2006) was born in Henderson, Texas, the daughter of John Jefferson Riley and Daisy L. Parmer. They married April 12, 1946 in Nacogdoches, Texas.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in World War II. He received his Masters Degree from Stephen F. Austin State University and worked several years with Hunt Plumbing Company and Crawford Building Supply
