Biographical / Historical
George Felix Koonce (1925-1992) and Dorothy "Dottie" Marie Grimes (1926-2019) married in 1947. Dottie grew up in Nacogdoches County, Texas and moved to Houston in 1941. Felix grew up in Houston. Felix was englisted in the Navy in 1943. Dottie and Felix had one son Larry Wade Koonce (1948-2004).
