This collection consist of correspondence from family and friends to Patsy as well as her husband and children. It also contains christmas cards, wedding invites and mulitple thank you cards to the family. It contains photos, art work and school work from her children and students Patsy had over the years. The collection also consist of many miscellaneous momentos she has collected during her lifetime.

Biographical / Historical
Charles Truett Parrish Sr.(1924-1998) married Patsy Ruth Wainwright Parrish (1930-2001). They had four children. Patricia, Katherine, Charles T. Jr, and Micheal Parrish. Patsy Parrish earned her degree in elementaty education from Stephen F. Austin State College in 1950. The family moved from Livingston, Texas to Nacogdoches in 1966. At this time Patsy Parrish began her career as a School Librarian at Thomas J. Rusk Middle School. It is noted that she did this with an emergency certification in library science. She then went on to attend graduate school at Sam Houston State College during the summer. She obtained her masters degree in Library Science in August of 1969. Patsy Parrish went on to do many wonderful thing for Nacogdoches ISD unitl she decided to retire in 1990.
