Content Description

This collection consist of correspondence from family and friends to Patsy as well as her husband and children. It also contains christmas cards, wedding invites and mulitple thank you cards to the family. It contains photos, art work and school work from her children and students Patsy had over the years. The collection also consist of many miscellaneous momentos she has collected during her lifetime.

Scope and Contents The Nettie E. Marshall Collections offer insight into the personal life of retired school teacher Nettie E. Marshall shortly after the death of her husband Frank P. Marshall. The collection features a photograph of Nettie E. Marshall and a Texas Teacher’s Daily Register from Mrs. Marshall’s classroom from the academic year 1918-1919 where she took role daily. Scope and Contents The first two boxes of the collection pertain to Ruth Pochmann. The collection includes her correspondence with various editors, personal correspondence and letters about awards and honors. A biographical sketch or "vita" of Mrs. Pochmann by Essie Richardson and an article and program about Mrs. Pochmann receiving the Distinguished Alumni Award of 1981 at SFA are contained in the collection.
