William A. Droddy Diary
This collection contains the diary of William Droddy documenting his service with a Texas volunteer company during the Mexican-American War from May to September 1846. The diary describes travel from East Texas to northern Mexico, camp life, religious services, interactions with Mexican communities, illness and hardships among the troops, and references to notable military figures including Zachary Taylor and Albert Sidney Johnston.
William A. Morris Family Bible Pages
The collection is the first 11 pages of a family Bible, including three pages listing family information. This includes the marriage of W. A. Morris and Alice Corley in 1910 and the birth of a son, William Raymon Morris, in 1911.
William D. Murdy World War II Collection
This collection consists of photocopies of the journals Murdy numbered 4-6. He said the other journals were destroyed over the years following the war. Some of the original pictures of the Dachau Concentration Camp were given to the department and are cataloged in the Photograph Collection.

Also present are nomination letters and letters of recommendation, copies of award certificates, biographical sketches, and several of Mrs. Glass’ publications. One item of note is an original Texas State Senate resolution granted in memorial of Willie Lee Glass in 1999.
Woldert Family Papers
This collection contains historical writings, research materials, and family papers compiled by William Albert Woldert and Albert Woldert of Tyler, Texas, with a focus on East Texas history. Materials include manuscripts on East Texas, Cherokee history, and Spanish missions in Houston County, as well as copies of correspondence and documents relating to William W. Wingfield, Adolphus Sterne, and other prominent East Texas figures.
