Biographical / Historical
Josie Pack (1883-1965) was the daughter of John L. Pack (1851-1929) and Mary E. Smith (1860-1839) who lived in the Chireno, Nacogdoches County, Texas. Josie first married Maurice T. Wilson (1880-1920) November 1902 in Nacogdoches County, Texas. After Maurice died Josie married Jewel T. Atkinson (1889-1973), son of John T. Atkinson (1857-1897) and Ella Laurena Garrett (1861-1945) on July 31, 1921 in Nacogdoches County, Texas. Jewel was a farmer and a veteran of World War I. Jewel and Josie made their home in the Chireno area. Josie had no children from either marriage.
