Biographical or Historical Information
Charles H. Tindall was a medical doctor who moved to Appleby in Nacogdoches County from Chattanooga, TN in 1902. His wife Minnie Speer Tindall was a part of Ladies of Apple Grove Lodge. Charles and Minnie had two children, William Leonard and Nellie Mae. The family lived in Nacogdoches County for over 15 years until Tindall had to move to Yuma, AZ for military service. Dr. Charles Tindall died from injuries sustained when his car collided with a train. He was 47 years old.
