The collection, which ranges from 1920-1983, is primarily composed of reunion photographs, industry newspapers, and company forms. There are also 10 bus schedules from the 1930s and 40s, reunion correspondence, a guest register, journal articles and several scrapbooks.

The ledger has accounts of customers at the store and includes prices of cigars, crackers, calico, wine and other items. It is bound with Richard Parmalee's District Clerk's fee book (1839-1850).

The Rowlett Store Ledger contains customer account records maintained between 1869 and 1873, documenting commercial transactions and local individuals in East Texas during the Reconstruction era. In addition to store accounts, the volume includes recipes, letter drafts, and family records for the McLain, Whitaker, and Wright families dating from 1841 to 1925, providing valuable genealogical and social history information.
