This ledger book has accounts of customers and shows the prices of vinegar, boots, shirts, cloth, coffee, hats, buttons, whiskey, tobacco, flour, tin buckets, and other items.

This collection includes customer accounts, inventories and invoices from Payne and Payne's suppliers. These records give a detailed picture of the type of merchandise sold by Payne and Payne from 1915 through 1950 and 1987-1991.

The collection of materials consists of plat maps, field notes and other information accumulated by Elmer Hill, his father, H. C. Hill and his father’s predecessor, W. T. Harlson who worked in the 1800’s in Tyler, San Augustine and Nacogdoches counties.

The collection, which ranges from 1920-1983, is primarily composed of reunion photographs, industry newspapers, and company forms. There are also 10 bus schedules from the 1930s and 40s, reunion correspondence, a guest register, journal articles and several scrapbooks.
