Benjamin Franklin Duren Common Book
Most of the book contains lyrics to songs and medical remedies of the time. The year listed in the finding aid is the year that it was written in the book by B. F. Duren, with the exception of 1884 and 1889 which was written in by Mollie Duren.
Benjamin Rush Milam Manuscript
Copy of an unpublished typescript manuscript by Mrs. M. B. Milam which consists of materials relating to Benjamin Rush Milam. Included is a memorial address to the Texas Legislature by James Milam, a biographical sketch by Dr. C. C. Graham, extracts from published works, and genealogical information on the Milam family.
Bennett Blake Papers
The collection consists of letters, financial papers, legal documents, and land deeds, mostly of Bennett Blake, his immediate family, and related families. A significant portion of the papers relate to William Bonaparte McKnight, who married Mary Louisa Addie Blake. McKnight's papers include oil leases and negotiations for timber rights. Several original land grants are included in the collection, two signed by Republic of Texas President Anson Jones.
Berry Family Collection
Most of the collection centers around the 1951 Army Security Agency ROTC Summer Camp. Vernon was an editor on the pictorial book created to document their expereinces. Many of the photographs have detailed descriptions on the back, including ones that were not added to the book.
